Just a small comment on the topic.

Imoen is just too loveable a character to not have a romance for the PC, however one thing I have noticed is the lack of off LOVETALK PC initiated dialog.

If this is still in the works, I'd suggest adding options for flirts and maybe adding a few more optional quests, prehaps in relation her reaction to the strongholds? i.e: Theives Guild; Imoen= Theif/Mage
Or maybe a similar story to Jaheria's bandit encounter?

Also I'd think the interactions between the female bioware romances could do with just a bit more revising, say in the case where Imoen should drop the act of being just a 'sister' and actually try to pry the overburdened PC's attention more than usual; of course only when appropriate <_<

As for Imoen's psych, I'd say its on the right track, to me she has always been more spontaneous to me than carefree.
(edwin ramble: That little mynx cheerful and stupid one minute, strange the next, of course not to my standards of intelligence, pathetic simians)

Anyways, I love the sweetness of Imoen's romance, and the more 'natural' the better I say ;)

Keep up the good work!

Think about this dialogue. Imoen may be interested...

Viconia: I am curious over something, Imoen. Your sibling saved you from imprisonment and restored your soul. Yet for all this you have never showed proper gratitude. Why is that?
Imoen: Proper gratitude? I?d hate to think what your idea of proper gratitude would be, Viconia.
Viconia: You owe (CHARNAME) your entire being. You should, at the very least, act as (HIS or HER) personal slave. Cater to (HIS or HER) every whim.
Imoen: (CHARNAME) is my (BROTHER or SISTER), you know! I owe (HIM or HER) my life, but let?s not take it that far!
Viconia: Your common parent is a god. That hardly counts towards any sort of common genetic bond, and even less of a reason to shirk what you owe (CHARNAME).
Imoen: (CHARNAME) and I grew up together. I love (HIM or HER) just as I loved Gorion. (CHARNAME) may feel differently, I don?t know ... but it doesn?t matter. Come what may, no matter how bad things get or what (CHARNAME) does, I?ll stick by (HIS or HER) side. I would die for (HIM or HER), Viconia. I would give up the soul that (HE or SHE) saved for (HIM or HER).
Viconia: Well, that would be a start.
Imoen: What about you, Viconia? How many times has (CHARNAME) saved *your* life? Would you do the same for (HIM or HER)? Would you put *your* life on the line?
(If Viconia romance is in progress)
Viconia: I ... I would. I love (HIM or HER) and you know this weakness of mine exists. Perhaps it is good that we have ... something ... in common, no? But enough of your mewling ... let us be off.
(If there is no romance)
Viconia: I ... that was not the question, elg?caress. I support (CHARNAME) and always have and I will not have you question me. Let us be off.

I never got to the end of this romance. It was all fine until there was one conversation and after choosing some stupid ant-eating or whatever reply Imoen said something like "You're nuts!" and left the party. That was a big NO for me, because be what it may, I just can't imagine her leaving the PC for such a futile reason. I believe that even if PC went into some kind of rage and attacked Imoen almost killing her, she would just try to calm him/her down till the very end not caring much about herself in the process. Upon hearing unsettling gibberish she would either join in joking around or get concerned about her sister/brother's mental state. Mods are mods, I can bear with some kind of out-of-characterness (especially in romances when it's sometimes required), but not much, and this has clearly passed the line by miles.

If I were to imagine a romance with Imoen myself, it wouldn't be based on "romantic" actions like they're usually are, but more on a deeper bond, that would twist the view on all the romance actions like kissing and others. I understand we won't see it in this mod of yours, even though I'd totally love to. But after what I've read around here, I'll be waiting until it comes out and definitely give it a try.

Someone above mentioned the way PC's actions could affect Imoen's character - I think it would be a brilliant idea.

So, yeah. Can't say much more since I never got far enough in the romance for the reason mentioned above.
Without love there?s no happily ever after. Not even once upon a time.

I find myself agreeing with this. As said, the thing is, you share this 'bond' with Imoen that doesn't get its conclusion until the end of ToB.. and this bond goes above the common 'romantic' sessions.. or how one is to describe it.

It's too bad they had to settle to make Imoen more or less a tag-along with a few comments to Jaheira, Minsc and Sarevok. There is so much she could be able to say, specially when it comes to the PC and their siblings.

And I never got to the end of her romance, either. Bodhi didn't like me at all. :crying:

Favourite Quotes from BG2
Minsc: Minsc will lead with blade and boot! Boo will take care of the details.
Saemon: Pardon?
Aerie: This is gonna hurt you ALOT more than me!
Sarevok: Now I return the favor!
Drizzt: Yes, yes, you have my attention.
Lilarcor: And this one's for Grandma, who said I would never amount to anything more than a butterknife!
