Well, if you wish to, you can try other kit combinations and see which of them prevents the install with the problem you have... and then go and make a complaint about it in the kits own forum.
Yes, actually I would be far better at this, if I knew what combination you are actually trying to make...

But essentially FlameWings needs to make a new version of this. With something like this before the copy command in the .tp2:
... ACTION_IF FILE_EXISTS_IN_GAME ~...~ BEGIN COPY ...

For my part,
I will not let it go ...
I really like this mod ... :crying:
I redid a clean install and everything ... :whistling:
but ... is the same ...
Curiously I do not encounter the problem with "obsolete" version 0.16.

If someone had the later versions (0.17 up to 0.20 included) to put it back online, it would be very cool ...! :woot:

The show must go on  (...)

Flamewing, I met a strange issue, what happened is that whatever I do to the mod, it justs keep saying ERROR int of string.
It's a good mod, though I had problems with the high level abilities

For now, you need to use the (G3)BG2Fixpack with the "Multiclassed Multikit Builder Mod [experimental]" mod.

It's kinda hard to know how to correct those as we cannot see what went off, so we need to see the setup-m7multikit.DEBUG file's content ! It's a text file, that you can open with Notepad and copy paste the text to a post, preferably in:

Sorry, I redownloaded the mod and it worked...
This mod is brilliant that it could use self made classes.

This mod allows me to create one and only one custom combination for the game. Is that how it's supposed to work, or is there a way to use it to create several different combinations? It does install and function under Mac OS X, so that's a positive thing to report :)

Thanks,
Eric

Erhm, the PC version(v0.21) actually ask "Please enter the number of multikits you want to create."

~M7MULTIKIT/M7MULTIKIT.TP2~ #0 #10 // Core Multikit Files: v0.21
~M7MULTIKIT/MULTIKITS.TP2~ #0 #0 // 'Berserker / Wild Mage' multikit: v0.21
~M7MULTIKIT/MULTIKITS.TP2~ #0 #1 // 'Kensai / Priest of Helm' multikit: v0.21

FlameWing, you'll have my thanks for this...

Install the (G3)BG2Fixpack first... <_<

If that won't help, make sure you have a clean install without any non-WeiDU-mods and then(try again, and if you fail) make a --change-log from the 'bgscrl3i.itm' file, and report the results. The whole --change-log'ging is explained here, in the answer 6.

Firstly best wishes to all and Happy New Year 2011 ... ^_^

Again,

After several installations, I managed to install the latest version of this mod : V-0.22.

But :

A)

1) The kits are not recognized

2) Or the description of kits in the interface is missing

3) Or else : the Builder does not assign the kit properly (by egg, for: Wizard Slayer / Bounty Hunter, I get: Berserker / Thief)

So, Given the recurrence of these troubles, I came to some assumptions:

B)

1) The differents successives installations of this mod have corrupted my system files (registry) that makes it impossible now to assign the kits correctly ...

2) The different mods I installed in the past, including Kits-Mods , or self-made Kits, have corrupt registry ...

3) By installing the fix-pack BG2FIXPACK, I generate a conflict with some file (ie: with this: ~ ~ BG2FIXPACK/SETUP-BG2FIXPACK.TP2 # 0 # 112 / / Wizard Slayers Cause Magic on Ranged Attacks Miscast: v9.01) ...

4) - the translation - of the version V22 has not been tested or optimized properly ...

5) Something causes a limitation to the combination of kits ...

6) Something Else ...

I hope we find a solution to these issues.

Thank you.

5) Something causes a limitation to the combination of kits ...

Well, the game has a set limitation of 255 total assignable of 'kit.ids'es, which can be tricky to account up to, as some kits have double, some can have triple amount of them and it depends on your mod install order, or the far out kit has 6 ids'es, the kit that has that is the Switch-Bard installed before the Refinements mod... as it triples the rogue kits(if my memory serves correctly). You see this by opening the "kit.ids" -file that's in your override folder after installing a kit mod(or you can use the NearInfinity if the override folder is .bif-fed, so the file is not there anymore), and then you just read the last number on the first column.
The ToB-Extender should have a 'fix' that, so the amount is close to a 1000(~1280).
But you should start from a clean install, install the Fixpack, the other mods and then install(including the Refinements first, then the kit mods you wish to use in the Multiclassed Multikit Builder Mod) and then last the Multiclassed Multikit Builder Mod.

I successfully installed this mod and created a few kits, such as kensai assassin and berserker/random mage specialisation.

Problem occuring now is that I don't get the HLA abilities. Any idea why that could possibly be? I've tried both using base multi class HLA tables and new generated ones, won't be able to choose any once i reach the level range either way.

Any ideas?

The kit HLA's themselves have a level requirements build in the LU***.2da file, open the file with NearInfinity and set the MIN_LEV to 1, and then save. Easy.
This requires FlameWing to recode the making of the mentioned file a bit, so the column always has 1 in it... but it shouldn't be hard as he coded the thing in the first place.
