This error is most likely caused by one of your previously installed mods that overwrites a script action definition in ACTION.IDS in an incompatible way. My guess would be Fishing for Trouble. I have already posted a bug report on this forum not too long ago.

I'll look into this today. I suspect the proper fix will be to skip FFT's patching of action.ids entirely for EE games...

That's probably the best solution. At present the mod adds a duplicate entry for "CreateCreature()" because of signature changes for a number of actions in ACTION.IDS.

noticed errors in neera_bg2.d: @10000 instead of @1000, @10001 instead of @1001

That's indeed a bug. I'll release a fixed version shortly.

Actually, this bug and more issues have been fixed for quite some time, but I haven't released a new version yet as some parts of the code require the latest WeiDU version (which is still in beta for months).

I'm getting an error when trying to install this for BG2EE on Mac OS Sierra (10.12.5): The terminal simply reads "Killed: 9" when running the install script. Some research tells me this is a problem that came with upgrading to Sierra (the mod worked perfectly on BG1EE before I upgraded the OS), and supposedly the latest version of WeiDU (which I've made sure to download, as well as the latest easy weidu installer) should sort this out for most mods, but I'm still seeing the same error. This is the only mod I've attempted to add since installing the game. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Yes, the macOS WeiDU binary included in this mod is already quite old and might causes trouble on Sierra. More recent macOS WeiDU versions (afaik since v240) are compatible with Mac OS Sierra again. I can't say much about the Easy WeiDU Installer and how it interacts with WeiDU binaries. It might be that the installer is still using the WeiDU binary provided by this mod or another binary on your system that has the same issue.

 

Make sure that no older WeiDU binaries are present in your game folder or wherever the installer is looking for the binary. Also delete "setup-A7NoEENPCs" from this mod, or replace it with a more up-to-date WeiDU binary. You can download the latest macOS WeiDU version from here: http://www.weidu.org/~thebigg/

New release: Convenient Enhanced Edition NPCs v4.0

Formerly known as "Disable Enhanced Edition NPCs", version 4.0 of the mod provides a major overhaul and focuses more on customization aspects of the new Beamdog NPCs. In addition to making NPCs passive or removing them completely, it is now possible to improve their portraits as well as customize their classes and/or kits to whatever you desire.

Changes in v4.0:
  • Changed mod name to "Convenient Enhanced Edition NPCs"
  • Added options to change classes or kits of selected NPCs
  • Added options to change portraits for NPCs (thanks LavaDelVortel)
  • Added "Passive Rasaad" for BG:EE

first of all, thx for the Mod. This is exactly what I've been looking for.

 

Quick question: I installed the Mod on a relatively fresh Save (beginning of Chapter 2, haven't met any of the EE NPCs yet). There is a Bouncer in Waukeen's promenade that is related to Neera's Quest afaik. In my Save he is still there. Is he supposed to be there or does this Mod normally remove him?

The bouncer guy hasn't been touched by this mod. Without Neera he will only trigger a generic line though, so there is no way to bypass him (without cheating).

Yes, you can kill him. But that doesn't allow you to pass the door. It's unlockable except by script.
