[Lava Del'Vortel]

Hi! I am considering doing a small update, but I need 2 lines to be translated into: French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Spanish. Right know I have Polish translation. It would be great if someone could translate those ino other languages: .

Not sure you'll be able to see/manipulate cyrillic letters correctly, what with all the codepages and stuff, but hopefully it will be ok

What about that Unreachable and Hours lines? Only English, Polish and Spanish translations are available. Other languages will use English lines.

For @4000301 = ~Unreachable~, I need the background to provide a translation because this kind of word has different meanings in French.

Thanks! As for unreachable - it's for the location map. The original is "Destination unreachable" and because it's quite long, big part of the icons are covered. The point is to make it as short as possible

OK. In vanilla games, Destination unreachable is translated with Destination impossible in dialog.tlk If you want to keep the vanilla reference, then the translation would be:

 

@4000300 = ~Heures~

@4000301 = ~Impossible~

* assuming that 4000300 refers to a part of context like "travel time X hours" this makes translation rather difficult: we have (every amount ending with 1, provided it's not ending with 11) "час", (every amount ending with 2, 3 or 4, provided it's not ending with 12, 13 or 14) "часа", and (every amount ending with 5 to 0, 11, 12, 13 or 14) - "часов". Now that I tried to lay it down in logical order it actually boggles the mind, telling the truth I was able to do so correctly only at 4th try

Unless there's any workaround been built in the game engine (alike was done with fdialog.tlk) or could be provided by Weidu ninjaing I suggest you stick with "Часов" though.

I'm not sure how is it handled in original translation. In English there's "Traveling Hours" - that's what you get when you want to change area, just under the area name. In EE that's string 23084.

Thanks for clarification K4thos! Lava, if you are going to use notion "Hours: X" then "Часов" is more than fitting no matter what the X will be

German map uses these terms

Hours >>> Reisestunden  (meaning travelling hours), simply hours would be *Stunden*

Unreachable >>>> Ziel nicht erreichbar (meaning destination unreachable) may be shortened to *nicht erreichbar*
