The history of the genies

I?ve been toying with an idea for a mod which involves a djinni. My problem is that I can?t find enough background information about their race. I have looked around the web and found bits and pieces without going into details.
This is what I?ve found so far:
ca. -7800 DR: The Great Arrival: The Djen, lead by their leader Calim, came to Faerūn and settled in the area known as Calimport today. (Coudn?t find more details about it.)
ca. -7790..-7690 DR: War against the dragons of the Marching Mountains which causes the destruction of all dragons in the area. (Also no more information about it.)
ca. -7690..-5690 DR: Conflicts with marids (water genies), later with efreets lead by Memnon. That war was very destructive and created the Calim Desert. (No specific dates or details found.)
around -5690(??) DR: Calim and Memnon were captured (or destroyed?) by high elven mages. (Also no dates and specifics.)
from ca. -5290 DR: Djinn are allowed to re-settle in the area.
ca. -4290..-4190 DR: Vengeful efreets start another war which the djinn win. (No details again)
ca. -4190..-4178 DR: The djinn slowly die off or vanish.
ca. -4178..1369 DR: No more recent events or activities found.
Especially the "Great Arrival" and their conflict with the efreets are interesting. I would also like to know more about their culture.
Do you know more about this topic or know any sources, links, articles or books which explain it in more detail? I?d appreciate any help. Thanks.

I don't see any references to genies after that, nor any reference to the second war you mentioned, though it may have took place somewhere other than the South (there's a different timeline for each area).-7800 A noble djinni named Calim arrives in Faerūn and founds the Calim Empire on the present-day site of Calimport.
-7790 Calimport falls to a flight of dragons. In retaliation, Calim attacks the wyrms in their lairs, driving them north from the Marching Mountains.
-7717 The reigning ataman of the Great Dismal Delve (a dao lord) establishes a portal between his holding on the Elemental Plane of Earth and a cavern complex beneath what is now the occupied town of Kzelter.
-7700 Rogue marids from the Calim Empire enter Selmalyr (undersea Vilhon Reach), sparking war with the sea elves. Teh marids and their jann spread into Seros, where they ally with the other aquatic races...
[more on wars between the marids, elves and djinn]
-6800 An efreeti named Memnon arrives in Faerūn and founds the country of Memnonar north of the River Agis.
-6500 ...The armies of Memnon and Calim battle each other, beginning a 400-year-long war known as the Era of Skyfire.
-6100 The Era of Skyfire ends when the high magic of the elves forcibly disembodies Calim and Memnon and binds their elemental essences to the sky and earth, respectively. The ongoing struggles of the two noble genies create the Calim Desert.
-6095 The Shanataran dwarves ally with Calishite humans against the remaining genies.
-6060 Humans and dwarves oust the last genies from Calim's realm. The humans found Coramshan on the site and rebuild the cities of Calimport and Keltar.

I’ve found a rough summary here, but I don’t know how reliable the information is.I don't see any references to genies after that, nor any reference to the second war you mentioned, ...
Regarding their culture, I found quite a bit about the society of the djinn who are located in the Plane of Air. Does it differ from the ones who settled in the Calim area?
