Hey there, tried to install this for BGT. Got an error during installation:

That's not a BGT... it's a Megamod game... which has plenty of "just cause" mods.

The Weidu told you this first:

ERROR locating resource for 'COPY'
Resource [SPWI122.spl] not found in KEY file:
    [./chitin.key]
Stopping installation because of error.

That's far more clear .. on the perspective of what could be the deal.

There might be a mod that removes the resource for reasons... good, bad or just cause*.

Is there any way to find how did that file went missing? Seems it is unused in game files so some mod must have deleted it...

Assuming a lot here, I could be totally off...

I'm getting a Failure("lexing: empty token") every time I try to install a kit.

This is probably from the fact that you try to install to a EE game, that requires the install files to be in a set of character codec ... and the mod was developed before that feature was included into the weidu.exe's source code.

Also try without the anti-paladin kit... it probably is at least partially at fault. Cause it doesn't extend the clastext.2da .. again I might be off my rocket, but likely not..

I tried without the anti-paladin, it gives me the same error no matter what kits I use. Is there any way I could make it compatible with current BGIIEE?

I have same exact issue as Kitsune Cuddler. EE version of the game, no matter what kit combination I choose I get Failure("lexing: empty token"). Im sad :(

Seems like this mod is broken for me. Using CrevsDaak version from here https://github.com/C...Daak/m7multikit on vanilla BG2EE throws an error during installation of the kit I made. 1st it was missing one line in weaprof.2da (it was expecting 55, was 54. I filled last one with asterisks) then it threw error that multikit I made is not in kits.ids. I gave up ._.

Is it modified game, and weidu.log's content please if it is, you open the file with Notepad and copy paste the text to the post..

There is no weidu log because I was installing it over clean BG2EE.

I am unable to reproduce this issue. I've just tried on BG2:EE v2.3.67.3 and I created a bunch of multikits (one of each class with different kits) and installed them with no problems.

The issue for the "empty token" error message might be because of an invalid character (which if entered is not removed and thus causing this) like a comma inside the kit's name entered by the user. I got this one by smashing the keyboard for a name for the multikits while I was testing and accidentally throwing in a comma as well as a bunch of gnhinfewjnfiewj in there.

I'm new to modding BG and I attempted to install this mod after EET but got the same error as Slant up above except that my forward slashes are normal. Here is the screenshot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ooooh I get it. Does it happen with both or only with the Wild Mage one (which is what I would expect)?
I'll get it fixed, it's really just a dumb error of not taking the correct XP Spells give and taking more away, leaving the character at -1 or less, thus making the engine warp around it and making it the maximum possibly (I too, love unsigned integers).
I'll make it read xpbonus.2da and compute the sum instead of leaving there the set number.

It looks as if english.tra from the languages folder was eaten by your antivirus or it's not there because of some much more obscure reason which I do not posses an answer for (just joking, I'm pretty sure your antivirus ate it for dinner). I don't know what you should do since I don't know anything about Windows or antiviruses, sorry man. You can download the file directly from here https://github.com/C...ges/english.tra or just copy it's contents and paste it on a new file. Be sure you save it as english.tra and you put it in the languages folder. Hope it helps!

OK, that makes it for v0.27.4, the Wild Mage XP bug should be fixed and now the mod is compatible with SoD.

So it's been a while~ I didn't notice the new update and since BWS with EET support is coming I made another attempt to install this mod that clearly hates me :(

 

Clean BG2EE from steam downloaded like 2 min ago. I deleted both folders in steam and documents beforehand.

 

ERROR: Cannot find 6 rows with at least 41 columns.ERROR: [xpbonus.2da] -> [override] Patching Failed (COPY) (Failure("Cannot Read 2DA Entry"))

@Lithesis, actually, every time you try to install the mod, you ran into a new error I make fixing the previous one. It should work now, I've tested it three times. Thanks again!
