Hey ya'll!

SHS is, as of today, six years old. Scary, eh?

I'm now going to be around more often. For real this time. I'm working to fix the spam issue (though we're waiting on something out of our control currently), and Choo Choo and I have made some small alterations that should help things.

In that vein, I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome Choo Choo to administratorship. She's been functioning as an admin behind the scenes for a while now and has worked hard to stem the tide of spam, so big props to her for agreeing to come on board officially.

Choo Choo would like me to remind everyone that if SHS was a child, it would now be starting school. My response is that if SHS was a child, it would be a disturbed, neglected one with severe psychosocial issues. Hopefully we can change that over the next six months!

If SHS was a child, it couldn't ask for a better mommy than Choo Choo. She'll continue to nurture the child with her wonderful balance of love, discipline and encouragement.

Six years makes sense. I'd just started on the village of Porthpentyrch, which six years later became the mod Fishing For Trouble, when Forgotten Wars closed. I still miss the initial SHS skin; I'm not running down Khayman's seriously hard work, it's just me.

Congratulations on being six years old SpellHold Studios!  
Before this site, you had to search for a long time to get any Mods for these games supported here. (Namely Baldur's Gate 2.) But thank you for connecting all the other IE Modding Community Sites together! And I hope that this site will last for at least 30 years. Because all the games hosted here are still going to be popular even after 45 years!                      And may even more Modders join this wonderful site!

But special thanks must be to Bioware. For without Bioware, this site would not be here. So thank you Bioware and Thank you Black Isle Studios for causing CRPGs to be so popular and now they are in other Video Game Formats!

I'm a little confused... We have members whose Joined Date goes back to 2002, the top three longest members being:

• MoneyD on 07-June 02
  
• Homunculus on 08-June 02
  
• Sledge on 08-June 02

If they have been members for 9 years, how are we only celebrating our 6^th B-Day? I guess I need a history lesson...?

IIRC Spellhod was derived from the old Forgotten Wars site, maybe those accounts were carried over from it?
